Young Concert Artists (YCA) has announced its 2026/2027 season of performances and innovative updates for their artists.
The season will present recital debuts at New York City’s Carnegie Hall and The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., by the winners of the 2025 Susan Wadsworth International Auditions: the Trio Azura, saxophonist Estel Vivó Casanovas, and VC Artist violinist Claire Wells.
In addition, YCA will present its “Encore Series” performances featuring pianist Albert Cano Smit and VC Artist cellist Bennett Tsai, as well as YCA On Tour Programs featuring YCA Artists and alumni.
The 2026/2027 season will also see the introduction of YCA’s new partnership with Skillman Music’s newly founded Skillman Records label to produce debut albums and performance videos for the Trio Azura, Casanovas, and Wells.
“We are thrilled to partner with Wei Wang, founder of Skillman Music and lead producer of Skillman Records and the team at Skillman Music on this initiative,” says YCA President Daniel Kellogg. “Having a commercially-produced album with professional-grade video content is invaluable for young artists at this stage of their careers, and we are excited to enhance the portfolio of resources we provide to accelerate their path forward.”
In November of 2026, YCA will also select a new cohort of young artists to join its three-year YCA Jacobs Fellowship through the annual Susan Wadsworth International Auditions.
The season will conclude with YCA’s 2026/2027 finale concert on May 18th, 2027. Current YCA artists will be joined by YCA alumni violist Toby Appel, pianist George Li, and violinist Anne Akiko Meyers.
