Cooking Vinyl has signed British reggae band UB40 to a worldwide artist services deal, with new music planned for release in 2026.
The announcement comes ahead of the band embarking on a 13-date arena tour of the UK, including OVO Arena Wembley (June 5).
New album Unstoppable is planned for later this year. It follows the success of UB45 in 2024, which reached No.5 in the UK.
UB40 have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and scored over 50 UK chart hits, including three UK No.1 singles and various international accolades.
Their landmark albums include Signing Off, Labour Of Love and Promises And Lies, along with hits such as Red Red Wine, Kingston Town, (I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You, Food For Thought and One in Ten.
“UB40 remain one of the UK’s most internationally recognised bands, with major chart success across Europe, the US and beyond, Grammy nominations, multi-platinum sales and a live legacy that has seen them tour continuously for more than four decades,” said the announcement from Cooking Vinyl.

“We are having the most enjoyable time in our career and we feel Unstoppable under the leadership of our management, partnered with Cooking Vinyl,” said Robin Campbell, founding member of UB40. “We can’t wait for the fans to enjoy the music and come and see us live around the world.”
“We are delighted to have signed with Cooking Vinyl for UB40’s highly-anticipated forthcoming album campaign, Unstoppable,” said Matt Campbell & James Abdou, UB40 co-managers. “UB40 remain one of the most enduring and successful acts in UK music history, with a global touring legacy and a catalogue of era-defining hits, which continue to resonate worldwide. This new partnership between Evo Music Management and Cooking Vinyl, signals the next phase in the band’s ongoing international campaign.”
“It’s an honour to work with UB40, a band I have always admired for their music and politics,” said Rob Collins, Cooking Vinyl managing director. “I’m old enough to remember the Unemployment Benefit Form 40 card and when I got my first job in the industry I signed off, just like the band did when they released their debut album.”
