Winter Sculpture Park will open at the former Thamesmead golf course on Sunday, March 2, running until Saturday, April 26.
Now in its fourth year, the park is set to feature 40 works by 34 artists, ranging from sculptures to installations, all in an outdoor setting.
Visitors will have the opportunity to freely explore the grounds, which span 6.5 acres along the Thames.
The disused golf course, closed to the public for over a decade, will serve as an artistic haven.
Some of the featured artists include Claye Bowler, known for work exploring the relationship between queerness, landscape, and the body, and Ellie Harrison, whose climate change-inspired piece Life Raft was displayed at the Venice Biennale in 2015.
Also exhibiting is Joseph Ijoyemi, an East London Art Prize finalist, and Chloë Louise Lawrence, who narrates working-class stories infused with themes of loss and nostalgia.
Chanel Vegas will present a satirical piece symbolising struggles within the NHS, while Alegria Repila Smith offers a memorial to women who have fallen victim to male violence.
The park will also feature the Prayer Room, a collaborative multi-faith space founded by Ishmail De Niro, Dinosaur Kilby, and Leah Hickey.
Marcus Orlandi’s banners, influenced by British tabloid headlines and Jenny Holzer’s Truism series, will also be showcased.
The park will launch on Saturday, March 1, with a day filled with performances, workshops, and music by SET Music.
The Winter Sculpture Park is the brainchild of creative curatorial duo No 32 and promises to be a unique fusion of art, nature, and community interaction.
