Visakhapatnam: The Amaravati Chitra Kala Veedhi Art Exhibition in Rajahmundry became a heartfelt celebration of creativity, featuring over 200 exquisite paintings by talented artists from the Visakha Chitra Kala Parishad. Displayed across eight diverse stalls, their vibrant artworks showcased not only technical skill but also a deep passion for art.
The event, held on April 4, attracted art enthusiasts and dignitaries who gathered to appreciate and honour the artistic brilliance flourishing in Andhra Pradesh. The exhibition created a warm, community atmosphere filled with admiration and joy.
Minister for Culture Kandula Durgesh and State Chairperson of Creativity and Culture Tejaswini Podapati graced the occasion. They toured all the art stalls and commended the artists for their exceptional work. The Visakha Chitra Kala Parishad painters were felicitated with shawls, certificates, and words of appreciation, acknowledging their significant contribution to the state’s cultural heritage.
The exhibition featured works by celebrated artists such as Dwarapudi Srinivas, V. Rahul Patnaik, P. Jacob Raju, P. Nageswara Rao, D. Bhujanga Rao, Narasimham, Akkireddy Srinivas, K. Mahesh, V. Shiva Satyanarayana, P. Shankarshan, K. Siva Kumar, Srisailapu Raju, V. Kripal, Kala Ratna Sunkara Chalapathi Rao, D. Thyagaraju, B. Mohan Rao, and others. Their diverse styles and themes reflected the vibrancy and richness of Andhra Pradesh’s art scene.
