Young Indian art collector Abeer Vivek Abrol was among the distinguished attendees at The Venice Biennale, marking a notable presence of Indian contemporary art on the global platform. The Biennale featured the opening of Nalini Malani’s exhibition, organized by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, attracting international art community figures.
Celebrations continued with Kiran Nadar’s 75th birthday at the iconic Granaries of the Republic and Hotel Cipriani. Hosted by Owais Husain and others, the event brought together collectors, gallerists, auction executives, and artists from around the world, including representatives from Christie’s and Sotheby’s, alongside prominent Indian collectors and gallerists.
The Biennale also highlighted the unveiling of Paresh Maity’s sculpture installation, with Abrol noting the importance of Indian art and patronage being recognized on this international platform. His participation underscored the engagement of a new generation in global art and cultural patronage.
