Participation in the towel giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who visit the UBS Art Studio at Art Basel Hong Kong 2026 during official show opening hours. To participate, eligible individuals must create and post a photo or video on Instagram while at the UBS Art Studio, tag @ubsglobalart, and use the hashtag #UBSArt. Only posts from public Instagram accounts are eligible. To claim a towel, participants must present their qualifying post in person at the UBS Art Studio booth. Each participant is eligible to receive only one towel. No purchase or payment is required. No personal data will be collected in connection with this giveaway. Towels must be collected in person at the marked UBS Art Studio booth during the event. The giveaway is not restricted by nationality or residency.
The towels are available in limited quantities and will be distributed on a strictly first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. UBS makes no guarantee or representation that the towels will be available to all participants. Once all towels have been distributed, no further claims may be made, and we shall not provide any substitute, replacement, or alternative item.
The towels are provided strictly on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. UBS makes no warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, with respect to the towels, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quality, durability, non-infringement, or suitability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UBS shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, claim, or liability whatsoever arising out of or in connection with the use, possession, handling, or disposal of the towels, including but not limited to (a) any allergic reaction, skin irritation, or other adverse physical reaction; (b) any defect, discoloration, shrinkage, or deterioration of the towel; (c) any property damage caused by or related to the towels; or (d) any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any nature.
The towels are intended solely for the personal, non-commercial use of the recipient. Participants shall not, directly or indirectly, (a) sell, resell, auction, or offer for sale any towels; (b) use any towels for any commercial, promotional, or fundraising purpose; (c) alter, modify, deface, or remove any branding, logo, or trademark affixed to any towels; or (d) distribute any towels in any manner that could create a false impression of endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with UBS.
All trademarks, logos, service marks, and other intellectual property displayed on the towels and in connection with the Event and the giveaway remain the sole and exclusive property of UBS. No license, right, or interest in any such intellectual property is granted or conferred upon any participant by virtue of participation in the giveaway or receipt of a towel. Unauthorized use of UBS’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
By posting content on Instagram as part of the participation requirements, participants grant UBS a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works of such content (including any photographs, videos, captions, or other materials posted in connection with the giveaway) across any and all media, channels, and platforms, whether now known or hereafter developed, for any lawful purpose, including without limitation marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes.
UBS reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to interpret, modify, amend, suspend, or terminate any aspect of the giveaway activity at any time and without prior notice. UBS’s interpretation of these terms and conditions shall be final and binding in all respects. In the event of any dispute, UBS’s decision shall be conclusive.
By participating in the towel giveaway, you acknowledge that you have read the above terms and conditions and disclaimers in its entirety, that you fully understand its terms, and that you voluntarily agree to be bound by all of its provisions.
