A sculpture commemorating Robert Louis Stevenson is set to be unveiled on Bournemouth’s promenade.
The piece celebrates Stevenson’s famous work, ‘Dr. Jeckle and Mr Hyde,’ which he penned at Skerryvore.
The Friends of Skerryvore will be meeting on Saturday, May 16, between 10am and 12 noon.
Members of the public are invited to lend a hand in maintaining the area.
Some tools are provided, and people are encouraged to bring their own tools for their own use as well as any refreshments required.

Wild garlic now adorns the area, replacing the vibrant daffodils from earlier in the year.
The Friends of Skerryvore, founded by Chris Colledge MBE, expressed gratitude for the public’s help in preserving this piece of Bournemouth’s historical heritage.
