A Pokemon fan has built a stunning sculpture of Trevenant that’s nearly as tall as a person. The impressive effort took the fan months to complete, but judging from the final result and the reaction of fellow Pokemon fans, their time was well worth it.
Trevenant is an interesting Pokemon in that it’s both frightening and kind. As a sort of guardian of the woods, it looks after the trees and can potentially trap or even consume those who are looking to hurt anything in its domain. However, it’s also well-known for being kind to other creatures and Pokemon that live in or on it.

After the GAME FREAK leak, sources claimed that the relationship between the two voice actresses were the reason that Ash’s story was completed.
It seems Pokemon fan Quickcorolla really likes Trevenant, as they have built a sculpture of the Pokemon that’s just under 5 feet tall. The sculpture does a wonderful job of recreating Trevenant’s design, giving the wooden part of the body a rough and gnarled-looking texture, and with an ominous glowing red eye to really bring the look home. Quickcorolla says that it took them somewhere around 30 hours spread out over multiple months to complete the sculpture. As one might expect, fans have been very receptive to the creation, remarking on the incredible construction and attention to detail.
The Process of Bringing Trevenant to Life
Although the artist doesn’t have a video to share of the building of the project, their past posts chronicle some of the steps they took along the way. Their first demonstrates the start of the sculpture long before it started looking like Trevenant, showing a stack of foam boards that were cut and shaped into the core. PVC piping was used in the middle to support it, and more PVC pipes were used to build the base of the limbs. In addition to doing a good job of representing the Pokemon, it was built with a lot of thought, as Quickcorolla designed it so that it can be broken down and put back together for traveling purposes.
While this Trevenant would make an amazing centerpiece for a Pokemon-themed Halloween celebration, it’s actually intended to be used as a year-round creation that the artist intends to keep in their office. While it would be a bit surprising to find a looming Trevenant in someone’s home, the time and effort put into the piece definitely makes it worthy of being highlighted year-round and not stuffed away into storage every time the spooky season comes to an end.
