As some can be seen from the road, the sculptures have become a local attraction, drawing visitors from as far away as China, Australia and New Zealand. The family also loan the sculptures out to schools and hospitals with all donations going directly to Break.
Mr Hay added: “I’ve loved supporting the trails. They are such a clever and unique idea, and the artwork on them is incredible. They really are a collector’s item.

“I’d love to be back for the next auction. I would really encourage those who can, to consider bidding – not only are you acquiring unique art pieces, but you’re also helping a fantastic charity.”
- The GoGoSafari auction will be held on October 2 at Saxon Air from 6pm. To register to bid on a sculpture either in person on the night or online, visit break-charity.org/auction
