Dorset Art Weeks, now an annual event, will run from May 23 to June 7, 2026, offering 16 days of exhibitions, open studios, and workshops across 294 venues.
The largest visual arts event of its kind in Dorset, Dorset Art Weeks promises to showcase an extraordinary variety of art, from traditional to contemporary, showcased by Dorset’s talented artists, makers, and designers.
Anthony Woodhouse of Hall & Woodhouse, the event’s headline sponsor, said: “Dorset Art Weeks continues to flourish, offering great opportunities for artists, providing valued experiences for locals and visitors alike, and boosting the tourism economy.

“Moving to an annual event from every other year is to be welcomed given the popular demand.
“What could be better than making a day of it in Dorset?”
The 2026 edition features FLOW, a headline commission of new work by artist Debbie Lee at Bere Marsh Farm’s Threshing Barn, Shillingstone.
This project is in partnership with the Countryside Regeneration Trust and supported by Hall & Woodhouse.
A refreshed brand and updated website accompany the move to an annual format.
Visitors can use the new interactive map to plan trips and discover exhibitions, workshops, and events.
A free printed guide will be available across Dorset from April 2026 to help visitors explore venues and artists.
Dorset Art Weeks is organised by Dorset Visual Arts, a registered charity that supports visual artists and makers at all stages of their career.
