London Sculpture Week, the only city-wide initiative celebrating public sculpture, returns for its fourth edition later this month with a mix of free and ticketed events. Best known for transforming London into an open-air gallery, the week will feature performances, talks and tours led by artists and curators.

The LSW 2025 programme brings together five major public art initiatives across London – Frieze Sculpture, Sculpture in the City, The Line, the Fourth Plinth, and public art across East Bank. Amongst the highlights are the unveiling of Untitled The Line by minimalist artist Rasheed Araeen at Bromley-by-Bow; a Fourth Plinth talk by Teresa Margolles, honouring trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming individuals; and a two-day performance by Simon Hitchens at Frieze Sculpture, tracing the shadows of a rock from dawn to dusk.
