Drone footage has captured what a newly installed life-sized sculpture of a Lancaster Bomber looks like from the air.

The steel structure has been installed in Norton Disney, Lincolnshire, in tribute to the RAF bomber crews that flew from the county during World War Two.

Two cranes lifted the artwork, which is 85ft (26m) long and has a 102ft (31m) wingspan, into place.

It is tilted to give the impression that the aircraft is in flight, heading home to the nearby former RAF Swinderby base.
