The two-metre tall work of art will make its debut as the centrepiece of a new exhibition.
Oil Art Gallery on King Street will unveil the monumental display entitled ‘Light Through Stone and Paint’ on Monday, September 22.
An amethyst geode is a hollow-lined rock that contains a hollow cavity filled with sparkling purple amethyst crystals.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
