Rare artwork, historic timepieces, and fine furniture will be showcased at the Northern Antiques Fair.
The event returns to The Garden Rooms at Tennants in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, from Thursday, October 9, to Sunday, October 12..
Now in its fifth consecutive year at the venue, the fair attracts collectors, interior designers, and casual browsers alike.
A cornerstone of the UK’s antiques calendar since its founding in 1951, the event brings together around 40 leading dealers from across the country.

Exhibitors will showcase furniture, fine art, jewellery, ceramics, clocks, silver, glass, sculpture, rugs, maps, and decorative objects, with all items vetted by independent specialists.
This year’s fair includes new exhibitors such as Breckland Antiques from Norfolk, Mark Rowles Fine Art from Shropshire, W R Harvey & Co (Antiques) Ltd from Oxfordshire, and Markies Antiques from Sussex.
Returning regulars include Blackbrook Gallery, Burlington, Hickmet Fine Arts, Howards Jewellers, Garret & Hurst Sculpture, Shapiro & Co, and Stephen Kalms Antiques.

Highlights from this year’s collection include Capel Caersalem by Sir Kyffin Williams, a 1975 oil on canvas priced at £38,000, and a rare 8-day mantel chronometer by Mercer, dating from 1930 and priced at £16,500.
Furniture enthusiasts can browse pieces from various periods, including a Victorian burr walnut and amboyna centre table offered at £12,950 by Mark Buckley Antiques.
W R Harvey & Co (Antiques) Ltd is presenting a George III satinwood Bonheur du Jour writing desk from around 1780, priced at £7,500.

For a more contemporary touch, Markies Antiques is offering a pair of mid-century Art Deco lounge chairs for £2,250.
Solo Antiques will display a bronze leaping deer by Lucien Alliot, c1925, for £2,500, and a WMF Art Nouveau maiden decanter in silvered pewter and glass from around 1900, priced at £950 from Morgan Strickland Decorative Arts.
Breckland Antiques is showcasing a rare gilt bronze and copper cup designed by Charles Robert Ashbee for the Guild of Handicraft, circa 1893, priced at £3,600.
Simon Frodsham, owner of Frodsham Clocks and a direct descendant of the renowned clockmaker William James Frodsham, is a great-great-great grandson of the famous clockmaker William James Frodsham who established the firm in 1801.
Artwork with Yorkshire connections is expected to draw particular interest.
Blackbrook Gallery is presenting Three Prize Pigs, an oil painting inscribed with a note about the 1860 Birmingham prize pigs bred by Sir George Wombwell, priced at £11,500.
Graham Reed Fine Art from Ripon will exhibit a watercolour by Frederick Williamson titled Whitby Looking to Larpool, priced at £2,750.
Carnes Fine Art is bringing Stockport Power Station by Alan Lowndes, valued between £30,000 and £40,000.
In jewellery, Howards Jewellers will display a Victorian sapphire and diamond dragonfly brooch from around 1880.
S Greenstein & Co Ltd will showcase a rare Cartier timepiece in 18-carat gold set with diamonds.
The Northern Antiques Fair is supported by a continuing charity partnership with RABI, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
Tickets are priced at £7.50 and include a programme and readmission.
