
He said: “I love music and the way it connects everyone together. Music unites people. It helps people express themselves and I feel the world needs more of that right now.
“I want to help the audience find unheard new music. There are so many talented artists out there, and my podcast is there to help people hear their music.”

Richard’s first episode came out in November last year, with 20 episodes across two series having followed since. The next series is due out in September and will be available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Deezer and Audible.
“Series 3 is focused on Preston and North West music artists,” he said. “I always want to hear from more local talent, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to be featured.”
In addition to the podcast, Richard is planning to get more involved in the local music scene.
He said: “There is a growing group of DJs, promoters, venues and artists who want to make Preston the place to be in the North West. I feel like the best is yet to come for Preston nightlife and music events.”
