This year, participants are drawing inspiration from the Ridgeway’s landscapes.
The rich blend of natural and man-made shapes and shadows in this famous national trail has set the theme for the competition: “Shapes and Shadows of the Ridgeway”.
Taking on this challenge, both professional and amateur artists will demonstrate skills in four categories: Wall Art including painting, drawing, etching, textile pictures, wall hangings, and mosaics in any medium; Photography in colour and black and white; Sculpture in ceramic, wire, wood and glass; Written work in poetry and prose.
