
The exhibition, showcasing the talent and creativity of staff at the University of Greater Manchester will open to the public in Bolton town centre on Friday (26 Sept).
The exhibition, entitled ‘Intersections’, highlights the diverse approaches to creativity and teaching in the University’s School of the Arts and Creative Technologies.

It explores the relationship between creative practice and teaching, and the opportunities that exist when one informs the other.

The exhibition is free to visit and will be running at the HIVE Artists gallery in Market Place on Knowsley St.
Liam Ainscough, a fine art lecturer, said the exhibition ‘celebrates collaboration between university departments’.

“The work on display reflects a broad spectrum and many of the pieces embody our school’s commitment to best practices, innovation, and continuous learning,” said Liam.
For those wishing to know more about the exhibition, a launch event will be taking place on Friday from 5pm to 8pm.
During the launch, there will be a panel discussion with artists, academics and industry professionals.
Liam added: “We want the space to be a place to share insights, exchange ideas, and discuss key issues including the role of pedagogy in creative disciplines, the impact of collaboration, and the transition from education to employment.”
The community-based gallery can be found on the first floor of the Market Place shopping centre.
