The summer arts market takes place in Haddington’s Corn Exchange next Saturday (June 28) and will showcase the work of more than 30 artists and makers from across the county.

The event, organised by East Lothian Council’s arts service, will feature a wide range of stalls selling ceramics, glass, jewellery, textiles and other crafts.

Kirsty Somerville, team manager at the arts service, said: “East Lothian is home to an incredible range of artists and craft makers, many of whom are inspired by the beautiful landscapes of the region.

“The arts service is delighted to be hosting our first arts market this June, and we are excited to be able to provide a platform for local artists to share their work with the local community.”

The market is open from 11am to 4pm and entry is free.

Visitors can also enjoy nearby events, including Haddington Farmers’ Market, which takes place on the same day from 9am to 1pm.
