On the work of Jadé Fadojuitimi, Untitled (2025), (Courtesy of Gagosian Gallery):
“Jadé is an artist that has stood out to me. I also really like the work of Carolina Achaintre, who works in ceramics and tufted rogues and whatever. I’m an artist, so there’s always aspects of certain works that I really like, and I view the fair a bit like a library of materials. It’s not a case of kind of copying or kind of mimicking, but there’s certain aspects of the way artists might use materials that just nudge me in the way I might work too.”
On the look:
“I don’t really think about my look, but this is a very cheap pink sweatshirt, which was quite boring, but I bleached it a little bit. It’s been worn inside-out, probably because it’s dirty on the other side.”
