The Jimi Zen Gallery will launch on St David’s Day, in historic Sergeants Lane in Tenby as a tribute to Wales through a blend of traditional photography and modern, retro-inspired artistry.

Jimi Zen, the artist behind the gallery, said: “My work is a tribute to the poetry of the Welsh landscape.

“Opening on St David’s Day holds a particular significance for me, as it’s a day for celebrating Welsh identity, and my work is an exploration of that same heritage – the beauty that exists throughout it, and more so in the quiet, rugged corners of our coastline.

“I wanted to create a space in Tenby that reflects the scale and picturesque nature of my beloved home country.”

Describing itself as more than just a gallery, the Jimi Zen Gallery aims to become a vibrant hub for the arts in west Wales, showcasing and promoting emerging talent throughout the year.

The gallery promises to offer a platform for ‘fresh perspectives and innovative creations,’ ensuring that visitors will always find ‘something new and exciting’ on display.

The physical launch will also be complemented by the debut of the gallery’s digital presence at www.jimizengallery.shop and www.jimizen.com, making its collections available to an online audience.
