SALISBURY Group of Artists – established in the 1940s and still going strong today – launched a spring exhibition 50 years ago.
The Journal’s archives show members of the public exploring the gallery and admiring the artwork on April 7, 1975.
This weeks’ dip into our old photographs also shows a cheque presentation for a cancer charity, a spring show in Damerham and a home-grown show in Winterslow.
A Journal photographer was also tasked with getting a picture of a rather creepy antique doll.
