Paris mixes fashion and culture in style! On June 26, 2025, Acne Studios opened its first independent art gallery, Acne Paper Palais Royal, under the arcades of the Palais Royal. An arty new spot in the heart of the 1st arrondissement.

Fashion and culture go hand in hand! After Agnès b. and her Fab. (Galerie du Jour), it’sAcne Studios ‘ turn to jump into the artistic fray. On June 26, 2025, the Swedish label inaugurates its first permanent independent art gallery in Paris, nestling under the arcades of the Palais Royal(Paris 1er), at the very address of its former boutique.

Called Acne Paper Palais Royal, this new venue designed by the Acne Paper magazine team promises a bold, multidisciplinary cultural program. On the program? Exhibitions, artist talks, magazine launches, book signings and cultural events, all designed as a space for creative exchange, at the crossroads between fashion and contemporary art.

For its opening, the gallery is putting the small frames in the big ones with an inaugural exhibition by Paul Kooiker, a Dutch artist renowned for his experimental approach to photography. Entitled 2025 Paul Kooiker, the exhibition will feature 42 portraits of art students from Amsterdam’s Gerrit Rietveld Academy.

And because an inauguration in Paris without a bit of festivity would be a fashion faux-pas, the vernissage will take place on Wednesday June 25, during an evening celebration in the gardens of the Palais Royal.

See you under the arcades. Creation has found a new home here…
